Our glamping tent has been built as a haven where you can immediately feel at home. The tent has a king bed, twin day bed with trundle, comfortably sleeping four. There is a flushing toilet; a private, hot, outdoor shower under a massive oak tree, and a fully stocked, screened-in "summer kitchen”.
In this unique camping location (it feels more like a treehouse than a tent), the theme of the tent changes to match the season. A truly luxurious experience.

Our Signal Mountain, Tennesseehome is 15 miles from downtown Chattanooga and 23 miles from Chattanooga Airport. Atlanta and Nashville Airports are both about 2.5 hours away so you could fly into either of these cities as well.
Directions will be sent once the booking is made as the campsite is on the property of the Johnson family and is behind a closed gate.

Such a fun weekend
My little family and I had such a fun weekend staying in The Tent at Paradise Meadows! It was so comfortable and cozy and the space provided everything we needed for an easy and memorable "Glamping" experience. Plenty of clean linens, including fluffy robes; tea, coffee water, refrigeration, and some sweet treats all in both the fun tent space & the kitchen below; and a private, flushing toilet and outdoor shower space. There are games, a fire pit, and a trail on site to enjoy. Lyn and Brett were very accessible and helpful while also giving all the space and privacy we could want. Thank you so much! We loved it!
A Paradise in the Woods!
This was our first experience glamping and we couldn't have picked a better place! Lyn and Brett have truly created a Paradise in the woods. They have provided all the comforts of home combined with all the fun of camping. It was a pleasure meeting Lyn and Brett. They are wonderful hosts. Don't miss this gem!
Glamping tent is spectacular!
Glamping tent is spectacular. Elegant beautiful touches are everywhere, from the robes to the Pioneer Woman inspired full kitchen to the glorious outside shower. It's a perfect blend of outdoors and luxury. 5 stars because 10 stars aren't available!

The hosts are SO gracious and have thought of every single detail! Stayed in the glamping tent and it was lovely. Highly recommended for a retreat. I am picky about the mattress I sleep on and it was SO wonderful. Fully stocked kitchen, fire pits, and the outdoor shower was so refreshing! Will be back for sure. Ten out of ten!
Brought back childlike memories
What a wonderful "Out of Africa" experience!The tent is magical and certainly brought back childlike memories of tent life, but now all grown up on a whole new level. Scenery is magnificent with colors and making s'mores on the fire was delicious.Thanks for deciding to build this Covid project.It brings such joy to others.
Loved the Spring Theme
So wonderful to be able to come here and relax as a family. The tent was spacious and comfortable, and we loved the beautiful Spring Theme! So beautiful to see the vibrancy of the forest around us as well.All the special touches show Lyn's love for her guests/friends. We were truly blessed by them and our time here. We know this will be a place of rest and refreshment for all who come here.
My children LOVED it!
This place is magical...so inviting and peaceful. It felt like a retreat for me and my kids to get away from our daily craziness and just rest and relax. We will definitely be back.

We have been so blessed to spend the past few days here. The setting is serene, comfortable, and well equipped. Lyn has thought of every little detail- organic teas, soft blankets, interesting reading material and champagne. Temperatures got down to the 40's at night but we didn't mind with the cozy gas stove. There is lots to see in the surrounded area and the quaint town of Chattanooga is a gem worth visiting. Lyn and Brett, the best of all was time spent with you in good conversation. Thank you so much for your hospitality. We will be back again. The Presence of the Lord is surely in this place!
Ah-MAZING!
Oh my, it was ah-MAZING!! The tent is enormous, and all the touches Lyn added just made us feel spoiled and special. She is the quintessential hostess – knowing when to bless us with her gift of hospitality, and when to let us vacation on our own in our private treehouse. Our "Out of Africa" theme made us feel like we had traveled to another continent (Lyn has several themes to choose from), the tent filled with genuine articles from her South African heritage. It had the feel of camping mixed with touches of luxury. On the one hand, we battled bugs, weathered hair-frizzing humidity, and experienced torrential lightning storms; and on the other, we slept in luxurious comfort, enjoyed modern plumbing, and reveled in the beauty of God’s creation. It was the perfect getaway.
Perfect Couple's Getaway
Lyn has created a glamping experience on her property in Signal Mountain, TN. It embodies everything that she talks about in her hospitality course! It's such a beautiful and inviting space. Every little detail has been thought out and so much love poured into it. It's the perfect couples getaway or girls' weekend!

Brett and Lyn Johnson live in Signal Mountain, Tennessee. Brett and Lyn enjoy watching home remodeling shows for fun. They have loved building their glamping tent, tiny house and renovating the Danish Cottage and Farmhouse. Preparing to host guests is a passion of Lyn's and she is delighted to welcome people to come and stay.
